The King House buffet has been suffering from a bad slew of PR. Recently, they had a bit of a scandal when the Health Department discovered some caged pigeons in the basement. Huge health code violation.

The real story is that a farmer had brought them as a gift for an employee that day. They were going to be removed the same day and taken home. Wrong place, wrong time. It’s still not cool – but it is definitely not the story that everyone else has been telling around the water cooler.
“Pigeon House” and prank calls are the norm at King House almost a month later. Unfortunately, it has also kept people from eating at this established downtown mainstay.

social media campaign
along with a “Dine-In” to remind people why King House has been around for so many years and, hopefully, keep it around for many more.
#SaveKingHouse is the battle cry and more than 150 people have made plans to dine at the King House on Monday, June 24th while another 1,000+ people are following the event page to share memories and lend support.
