A new golf park is in the works in north Fargo at Edgewood golf course.
Judge Rodney S. Webb Memorial Golf Park
As Judge Wade Webb describes
(in the podcast above)
, it is the work of a lot of private donations and a unique partnership with the City of Fargo.
The golf park is named for his late father and Federal Judge Rodney Webb.
(Judge Wade Webb in the KFGO Studio)
Webb says this is special place where his father would ride bike, talk to friends and take his kids golfing.
The land for the park was donated by the Kjos family.
The unique park will feature a putting green, chipping green, sand trap, 30-40 yards to practice wedges and is nestled into the residential community just south of Edgewood golf course.
A public dedication will be held Tuesday, June 11, 2019 at 12:30pm.
