Laura Elise is trying to better her community through the gift of reading. She has organized an online fundraiser that will go towards the YWCA to choose and purchase brand new books through the Usborne Books & More “Literacy for a Lifetime” program.
The program provides a 50% match to every dollar donated and it’s a non-profit, so your gift is tax deductible!
Imagine a world where you leave everything behind and something as simple as reading a bedtime story to your child is stripped away. With the $1,000 Laura is attempting to raise, the YWCA will be able to use the money and the 50% match to choose books that represent the individuals they serve. These books then populate a free library where children and parents can choose books they are allowed to keep.
