Britta Lee, from our sister station JackFM, joins It Takes Two with an update about the massive amount of people packing themselves into the Ramada in Fargo, ND this Memorial Day Weekend.
CoreCon is in its 11th year and the number of attendees keeps growing. A great outing for families (try the kids costume parade!) or die hard fans of the “nerdy” genres – you will definitely be welcomed with open arms as these lovable misfits dress like their favorite superhero/video game/comic/role playing character!

Here is some lingo:
Cosplayer – people who put considerable talent and resources into recreating their favorite character looks from films, comics, tv or books.
Gaming – not blackjack, but instead they are talking about anything from Dungeons and Dragons (sessions that last hours and hours) to old school video games like the classic Nintendo.
Host Suite – Con attendees who remove all the furniture from a hotel room and setup some sort of experience (Dr. Who, Space Shuttle, Cave, etc) and allow con visitors to hang out and enjoy the experience. Always look for open doors!
