On Thursday, July 11th 2019 – you are invited to the Red River Valley Fair to see some special guests who showed up to celebrate Military Appreciation Day.
The Anheuser-Busch Clydesdales will be making an appearance (weather permitting) and touring the fairgrounds. These beautiful horses have a long history with the Budweiser corporation – who also do quite a bit supporting our past and current military members.
The fair wants YOU to nominate someone in your life who exemplifies the Hometown Hero attitude as part of the armed forces.
For example, you might nominate your grandfather who served in the Korean War or your next door neighbor who has worked recruiting young talent for the last 20 years. Maybe you want to honor that first year Marine.

Nomination Requirements:
Nominees must have served between 1940-2018
Nominees must still be living
Nominees must live within 100 miles of Fargo, ND
Nominators are asked to read the entry on stage at the Hometown Hero program
Hometown Heroes will be announced at the Hometown Hero Program on Thursday, July 11th, 2019.
Nominations DUE by Friday, June 7th!
