FARGO, ND (KFGO) Fargo Fire and Police responded to a cargo van on fire on the 1400 block of Main Ave, west of University Drive. They received the call around 1:25pm Sunday. KFGO’s Paul Jurgens was a few blocks away and says the blaze emitted “thick black smoke” above the Fargo skyline for only a few minutes before firefighters extinguished the van.
Jurgens says it appears the van had not been moved for a while before it caught fire. Traffic on Main Ave was shortly disrupted during the emergency response. No injuries are reported. The Fire Marshal is investigating what caused the fire.
