Text 82257
Good news: You can now anonymously text a tip to the Cass County Sheriffs Department.
This is not to be used in an emergency situation. In that case, you should still call (or text!) 9-1-1.
While you can text any tip to the 82257, they are encouraging those with school safety concerns to text the word “SAFE” and those with tips on places where drugs are being sold, consumed or transported, text the word “DRUGS”. This will allow proper follow-up questions.
These messages are anonymous, so texts will not be part of public record.

From KFGO News:
FARGO (KFGO) – A new program where you can report crime, school safety and other concerns to law enforcement anonymously is now active in Cass County. The sheriff’s office has joined “Project Standup.”
Sheriff Jesse Jahner says “Project Standup” got its start in South Dakota last Aug., where about 1,000 tips have been texted in. 50 have been related to schools. Sanford Health is paying the cost of adding the logo to squad cars.
The information goes to a center staffed by volunteers in Arizona which will quickly contact the law enforcement agency where the tip originated.
“Project Standup” tips can be texted to 82257.
