Seasons at Rose Creek has been empty for awhile now. The south Fargo eatery catered to fine dining as well as a sandwich and beer after a game of golf. When the Hector family decided to give up the restaurant, the Fargo Park District won the bid on the building…but patiently waited to announce plans.

Joel Vettel, Executive Director of the Fargo Park District, told It Takes Two that numerous entities and existing restaurants inquired and provided proposals to the park district to partner in re-opening a restaurant space. Years went by before the right person with the right vision found the right time.
The folks behind Big Erv’s in Horace, ND are getting the opportunity to serve the golfers, diners and 5 o’clock somewhere-ers of the area. Their dedication to service and quality won over the group making the decision.
Vettel even mentions that the very first moment Big Erv’s could get access to the building (a day after the lease was signed) they were already inside the building getting ready for some renovations. A lofty goal of a little over a month to a mid-May opening looming over their heads.
Summer of 2019 will see the opening of Big Erv’s at Rose Creek and the FM area welcomes a new tenant to a favorite spot.
