Bruce has his work cut out for him. Fielding plenty of text messages and calls from listeners, he answers questions about what to do when the wind whips your door open and bends it out of shape, erratic shifting on a Chevy Impala and more.
This episode also features a discussion on what to do when you have a tire that has a significant leak. SHOULD you fill it and still drive it to the shop or are you better off switching it out for the spare to possibly save the life of that tire? Bruce says, “Just because you can, doesn’t mean you should,” and further warns that it can hurt the rim, kill the tire and all manner of things.
Bruce also speaks with an unhappy customer who recently had their tires changed at another outfit only to have trouble with it a few weeks later. He tried going back and they wouldn’t give him much help. Bruce recommends a fix and agrees that the mechanic at the listener’s chosen shop should have been better about helping with the situation.
