On February 28th, Make-A-Wish of North Dakota would like donors to go online and donate their unused airline miles. In a truly unique fundraiser, Make-A-Wish aims to get donations in the amount of 1,000,000 miles during a 24 hour period. These miles help arrange for the travel this summer of more than 50 families who have a member that is being granted a wish.

Trips to DisneyWorld, across the country and more amount to nearly 5,000,000 miles and Make-A-Wish has struck some deals for citizens to donate their miles (before they expire) and be used to help with travel costs. Miles donated to Make-A-Wish do not expire (although they get used so fast that it would be hard to imagine them sitting around) and can be donated through programs at most of the major airlines.
