Andrea Baumgartner, of Bernbaums, brought in a traditional noodle kugel recipe for us to try. A staple in Jewish cookbooks, this dish featured corn flakes on the top and a sweet, less savory, finish. Amy and JJ both got heaping helpings to dig into after the show. The corn flakes made the kugel homey and felt like something our own grandmothers would make – while the noodles and sweet taste were something that caught us by a HAPPY surprise.
