Melissa Rademacher, the Executive Director of the Downtown Community Partnership, is the perfect person to help steer the ship on reviving the recently defunct St. Patrick’s Day Parade.

In January, the announcement came that the volunteers couldn’t do it anymore. The part time group needed to raise big money and the logistics required more time and attention than ever. So they pulled the plug. Then, behind the scenes, businesses and city leaders started talking. What could be done? We’ll need money! We’ll need police! We’ll need to get Moorhead involved.
Now, the plans are back on and businesses/citizens/politicians are working their talents to the max in preparations for the upcoming parade. Expect green, jigs and merriment in downtown Fargo AND Moorhead. The parade will now start at 11am in Moorhead near the Moorhead Center Mall and travel into Fargo and up Broadway.
