is a dramatic song cycle written by composer Dave Hall and soprano

Love & Trouble
explores the many facets of love from the perspective of five different personas. The show is presented cabaret-style and features Adrienne’s original lyrics, poems and musical compositions. Jazz, Gospel, Classical and Blues musical styles allow each of the very different characters to express themselves in a toe tapping, emotionally riveting and exhilarating experience. This performance will feature a small jazz/classical ensemble of FMSO musicians as well as guest pianist Mila Henry and guitarist James Moore.
Adrienne’s performance of
Love & Trouble
at the historic Feinstein’s/54 Below in New York City was nominated for the Broadway World Cabaret Awards for Best Special Event (Solo) in 2018. Adrienne first performed for Fargo-Moorhead audiences when she was soprano soloist for Mahler’s “Resurrection Symphony” in 2015. She is an award-winning singer, writer, composer, and educator who has performed everything from operas to one-woman shows all over the world.
