My dad was a letter carrier in Moorhead until he retired over a decade ago. I don’t ever remember him getting a day off because of the cold. I remember them pulling them off the route because of blizzard conditions, but I am glad they didn’t put their men and women in danger Wednesday in what was some of the most bone chilling temperatures and wind chills I can remember.
