Amy Okeson from Atonement Lutheran Church joins IT2 to provide an update on the 2019 Feed My Starving Children Mana Meal Pack event that is taking place this Thursday through Saturday.
2.5 million meals. That’s the goal. An incredible step towards providing nutritious meals to those who don’t have the same means as we do. Packing that many meals means some major changes from years past. Atonement opened up their gym in previous meal packing sessions, but a goal this big required some place bigger. A lot bigger. So this weekend volunteers from all over the region will pour into the Scheels Arena to unload, pack, label, re-pack, box, lift, store, move and ship out the meals that have been prepared.
