See It, Stream It or Skip It: Adventure Movies on Netflix, Holmes & Watson, Escape Room

This week, See It-Stream It or Skip It sheds some light on the worst reviewed movie of the year, a glut of great treasure hunting movies on Netflix and a ho-hum horror flick in theaters (but probably not for long)

SEE IT – HOLMES & WATSON

This movie has been dragged through the mud by critics since opening right before Christmas. As a Sherlock Holmes (TV and movies) fan as well as someone who liked Step Brothers and Talledega Nights – this movie is just fine. It won’t go down in history as a comedy classic, but it is no where near the “bomb” that people are saying. I suspect some behind the curtain Hollywood politics behind the poor reviews. I laughed, I chuckled, I got bored – but I have seen FAR WORSE movies in the last year…

STREAM IT – Adventure Movies on Netflix

The entire Indiana Jones collection! All of The Mummy franchise! Both National Treasures! It’s adventure after adventure. Great for a cold winter night. Especially if you are introducing these gems to a new generation of fans!

SKIP IT – Escape Room
