As the Government shutdown enters week 3, national news headlines indicate TSA agents are calling out sick in increasing numbers.
TSA agents, air traffic controllers and customs and immigration officials, which screen travelers coming into the country, are among the some 420,000 federal employees who are still required to work amid the shutdown without pay. Other employees were furloughed.
The employees will be back-paid when the government re-opens.
Shawn Dobberstein says the Fargo airport has not experienced any problems or delays amid the shutdown and TSA agents are still showing up as usual at Fargo Hector International Airport.
