Here are some pro tips you can use in the comfort of your own home.
Pre-Cook Your Pasta
If you know that a group size might be bigger than you expect or you aren’t sure of what time you’ll be eating – pre-cook your noodles. Here is the thing, cook them to Al Dente (to the tooth) so the noodles aren’t quite done. Almost done. Bring them over the the sink and wash the noodles in cold water, being sure to get all the heat out of the pasta. You can put these almost done noodles into the fridge and wait for dinner time. When you get close to the time you are ready to eat, boil some water and throw the pasta in to finish up – BAM – you’ll have ready to eat pasta in minutes.
Sauce on Top or Mixed In
This is 100% a dealer’s choice. The look of some simple sauce served over the top makes the plating all the more beautiful, but when feeding the whole family – feel free to mix in the spaghetti with the sauce. One bowl, one spoon. Keep the dishes to a minimum!
