Jamestown, N.D. (KFGO/NewsDakota) – The Jamestown Police Department is looking for two men involved in an alleged assault at a motel early Wednesday morning.
Before 1:50 a.m., two men and a woman reportedly forced their way into one of the rooms at the Buffalo Motel, assaulted a male, threatened a female and then stole some items before leaving.
When police arrived on scene, the three were ordered to stop. Amber Switters complied and was arrested. The two men, Dustin Vaughn and Gabriel Hanson, fled in a vehicle. A chase followed, eventually going onto I-94 where speeds reached over 90 miles per hour. The pursuit was soon called off due to safety concerns.
Police do not believe the two men are a threat to the public.
