Bruce shares these tips:
1. Tires – They are hard to wrap, but a new set of tires can breath new life into an older car. The upgraded tread will also give you some piece of mind that your loved one will get from point A to point B safely this winter.
2. Floor Mats – Don’t think twice, these might not get a huge grin on a friend’s face, but this is the type of gift they will thank you for months and months after they open these beauties. Plus, a good set will help their vehicle retain a resell value – so they will thank you years later too!
3. Auto Start System – It’s cold. An auto start system is how human beings fight against the cold. Newer vehicles have additional features when it comes to auto start, but you’d be surprised how far back a car will accept a system. Note, the prices are all over the place. Some are tech heavy (start your car from your smart phone) and some are simple (just a button on your keychain). Think about what style best suits your loved ones’ needs.
4. A Battery Tender – This one pays for itself by extending the life of your battery and save you the headache from having to find someone to jump your cold car!
