I am sitting in the Thai Orchid is nestled in the Moorhead Center Mall. The Asian eatery has giant glass windows that look onto Center Ave. Amy Iler and JJ Gordon watch cars pass, a few folks riding bikes and then, suddenly, they realized…people are watching them. Well, not them exactly, people are checking out their entrees. A “Quick Lunch Box” special. Amy chose Spicy Basil with Chicken, JJ went with Red Curry.

The restaurant changed ownership a few years ago and Anne jumped at the opportunity. She has a doctorate in business after studying in Australia. The Thai Orchid represents her chance to blend a family history of food and food service along with her skills in the business world. Oh yeah, she also employs her parents, siblings and more.
The service and satisfaction are Anne’s top priorities. From the small time we spent engaging with the lunch crowd, she is getting the job done!
