In a stroke of luck, Amy Iler and JJ Gordon ran into a group of folks touring Moorhead, MN on a fact finding mission – this group included Dan Mahli and Joe Raso.
When you consider the amount of growth Moorhead has seen over the last decade, folks on the east side of the Red River are not surprised that the future is looking bright.

Dan Mahli, who until recently was working with Fargo, is the Assistant City Manager in Moorhead. Dan said, “Whatever the future looks like, it’s happening here,” which is a wonderful way to sum up the massive plans that Moorhead is currently working on within (and outside) its borders. While we are quoting Dan, how about this one too (in reference to the Red River) “It’s not a border, it’s a seam!”
Joe Raso is living proof that the region is attracting professionals from across the nation to relocate to our neck of the woods. Joe has been working in Colorado and when the opportunity presented itself to work in the region – Joe jumped at the chance. His take on what makes us unique is refreshing. Sometimes you just need to hear the words from someone looking from an outside perspective.
