“It’s called a play, not a work!” That is the phrase Bill Lucas, director of Silver Follies at the FMCT, pushes to the senior citizens working on the 2018 production “Music & Mayhem.” Bill joined Amy Iler and JJ Gordon to discuss the fun of directing a show filled with seniors. Silver Follies is an annual show at the FMCT comprised of an entirely senior cast. Don’t let the description make you think this is all rocking chairs and Andrew Sisters music. These folks are dancing up a storm, telling jokes and even hosting a murder mystery!
