AP Reporter Dave Kolpack joins Amy & JJ to talk about his ‘close call’ after he suffered a heart attack on March 10, 2018.
Kolpack describes the event – and the warning signs leading up to it.
As someone who had no family history of heart disease, was overall a pretty healthy guy and had started a new diet and exercise routine about 5 months earlier, this came as a great surprise.
Now back at work, Kolpack says, “everyday is the best day ever”. He is happily back to the grind… with a bounce in his step and an eye on the sodium content.
