Wintersteen, a Comstock Neighborhood Resident explains why she – and other neighbors – are upset by a development in their neighborhood, most specifically, a parking lot.
After voicing their concerns, the developer (T&M Graham Management) was still granted a provisional use permit to build a parking lot. A provisional permit does not require any public notification, while a conditional permit does.
Wintersteen and other residents filed an appeal and attended this week’s Moorhead planning board meeting. To their relief, the planning board unanimously voted to change residential parking lot permits to conditional use.
However, Wintersteen is still concerned the character of the neighborhood will be lost, with little public input.
