Halloween is so close, I can almost taste it! Can you?
Welcome to the fourth post in a series of Halloween sweets and treats. This week, it’s time for something lighter to offset all the candy I’ve been eating in preparation for Halloween night. Do you hoard the “good stuff” instead of handing it out?
How cute are these candy corn fruit cups?
And they are easy to make, too! All you need is orange fruit, yellow fruit and whipped cream.
I used mandarin oranges and pineapple, but peaches, pears, mango, or bananas would also work.
For four fruit cups, I used one can of pineapple chunks, 2 small cans of mandarin oranges, and one-half pint of whipping cream (whipped and lightly sweetened with sugar).
Making candy corn fruit cups is easy. Simply layer orange fruit and yellow fruit into a clear cup and top with whipped cream.
