Aaron Hamlin, Executive Director of
The Center for Election Science
, says he thinks there is a better way for voters in Fargo: approval voting.
Aaron explains what approval voting is & why he thinks it’s a more honest way of voting.
Instead of voting for just one or two candidates, you would vote for as may candidates as you’d like. Hamlin explains that this would actually expand candidates need – and want – to reach out and listen to perspectives they may disagree with as EVERY vote would actually count.
Additionally, a group called
REFORM FARGO
is collecting signatures to get the issue on the November ballot.
