– and when authorities mentioned that it may have been a “fisher” both Amy Iler and JJ Gordon said, “What the heck is a fisher?!?!”
Hear the sounds of the Fisher Cat…
Doug Leier from The Morning Crew and Outdoors Live explains that a fisher is in the weasel family, largely found in wooded areas and is roughly the size of a large house cat. Like any woodland creature, if a fisher is approached or an individual attempts to handle one, you can assume it will attack in an attempt to get away.
