There are numerous pet food brands on the market and the latest trend is “Grain-Free.” We tend to feed our pets in the same manner we feed ourselves. So it makes sense that our pets would eventually end up with bags, cans and treats that claim “grain-free” on the side. Dr. Winning says that there is research leading vets to believe that non-grain additives that are used in place of wheat may be causing long term damage to your furry friend’s digest system.
Dr. Winning also discusses how to treat and attempt to prevent your animals from being eaten up by flies during the summer months. Numerous products are available without a prescription.
