See It, Stream It. Skip It 6/1/18

SEE IT

“RBG” – this documentary about Supreme Court Justice Ruth Bader Ginsburg is more than just a look back at the 84 year old’s achievements in our country’s highest court of all. You can be inspired by a person who is doing more with her day than someone half her age. The accomplishments are many, plus there are quite a few laughs along the way. A definite see for those who need to be reminded of the great things happening everyday.

STREAM IT

“Just Friends” is a fun romantic comedy for anyone who was ever put into the ‘friend zone’ or maybe had that one person you never told how you really feel about them. High school dud Chris is in love with his best friend – things do not go well. 10 years later, Chris is thinner, successful and finds himself unexpectedly back in his hometown. Will he take another stab at love? What about his current girlfriend? Ryan Reynolds is pitch perfect in this role. Currently streaming on Netflix.

SKIP IT

Action Point is point-less. Unless you enjoy watching guys hurt themselves and cringing for 90 minutes straight, you can avoid this low brow comedy. Stunt favorite Johnny Knoxville combines a mixture of stupid physical stunts and a loose plot line, but all that comes out of the oven is a mess. There is definitely an audience for this film, but not a big one.
