Dillon Hill and Chris Betancourt are best friends who have taken tragedy and turned it into inspiration. Chris was given a grim cancer diagnosis – after already battling the disease almost 10 years earlier. Dillon put off his plans for college to help his friend create and complete a bucket list.

As if this wasn’t inspirational enough, the two young men started populating their list with To-Do items that were more than just massive games of paintball or lifting weights with The Rock…these two started adding line items that would make the world a better place. For example, on Thanksgiving last year they were able to order over 100 burgers at a Jack-In-The-Box and then distribute them to people waiting in traffic.
Or how about item #93 – Help a Homeless Person Get a Job? These young men also made it their mission to get as many new donors on the bone marrow transplant list as possible.
That last goal, after months of promotion and friendship, ended with over 10,000 people being added to the registry and one of them even matched Chris. His opportunity to continue working on the list has been granted by a complete stranger who was moved by their friendship and story.
Plus, they made a documentary about the experience as well as helping another young person with her list. Lexi was inspired by Dillon and Chris to create her own list and the young men want to help her.
