VALLEY CITY, N.D. (KFGO) – The westbound lanes of I-94 at Valley City were shut down for 2 hours Saturday night after a semi truck, trailer and its load of food went up in flames.
The state patrol says the driver said he heard a “pop” in the engine, pulled over and saw flames pouring from the engine area and spread quickly through the rest of the rig. Traffic had to be re-routed through Valley City until the wreck could be cleared.
The driver was not hurt.
