BISMARCK, N.D. (KFGO) – A 25-year-old woman is in custody after a stabbing death in Bismarck over the weekend.
Erian Fox is suspected of stabbing 51-year-old John Leier at an apartment Friday night. Leier suffered a stab wound to the chest and died at a hospital.
After the stabbing, Bismarck Police took Fox into custody for ingestion and tampering with evidence. She was booked into the Burleigh Morton Detention Center.
After further investigation, Fox is now facing a murder charge.
Investigators were looking for another woman seen on surveillance video leaving the apartment after the stabbing. She has since been found and interviewed.
Police are not looking for any other suspects. Investigators say the stabbing was targeted.
