WEST FARGO (KFGO) – The cause of an early Thursday morning house fire in West Fargo is under investigation.
At 3:45, the department was dispatched to a structure fire at 519 Third Ave. NW in West Fargo. Upon arrival, firefighters saw a single stall detached garage fully engulfed in flames. The three occupants of the house were already outside as a passerby knocked on their door and got them out.
The fire was controlled within 45 minutes. No one was injured.
There was slight smoke damage to the house. A van in the driveway and the single-stall garage were destroyed. A ladder, an engine, rescue and the battalion chief responded to the fire.
Cost of damages and cause of the fire is still under investigation.
