There are plenty of Scrooge’s out there who are waiting for a chance to steal your financial information and take both the “holly” and “jolly” out of your holiday season.
Phil Swan is an expert when it comes to protecting individuals and businesses from fraudsters. Those individuals who are building fake websites or credit card skimming devices. In fact, he joins It Takes Two right after getting back from a national fraud conference in New York City.
Keeping on top of all the technology and old school tricks that anonymous computer fraudsters are using to trick you into giving them financial and banking information so they can pad their own pockets.

The tip of the week is:
“If the deal seems too good to be true, it probably is!”
Many people want to get the lowest price for the perfect gift, but the fraudsters take advantage of that by creating clickable links to products that promise “90% off” or other unbelievable deals.
Phil Swan says that using only trusted websites and making sure that you get shipping information that can be checked on by tracking your package.
They’ll never be on Santa’s Nice List so be on the lookout for fraudsters trying to steal right out of your stocking this year!
