MOORHEAD (KFGO) – It wasn’t even close. Voters in the Moorhead Area School District have passed a $110-million bond issue by a huge margin.
5,438 voters gave their okay while just 1,754 voters said no to the question.
The money will pay for a rebuild of the high school in its current location and the purchase and remodeling of the former Sam’s Club along I-94. it will become a career center.
In the Dilworth-Glyndon-Felton District, a $31-million bond issue was approved with 742 votes in favor and 632 against. The approval will allow for realignment of grades and school safety upgrades.
