WASHINGTON, D.C. (KFGO/KNOX) – The U.S. Postal Service Inspector General has completed an audit of postal operations in the Minnesota-North Dakota District.
The audit looked into delayed mail, and other issues. The Inspector General recommends that district management try to Fill and retain carrier and clerk positions, and train employees on the proper procedures for identifying and reporting delayed mail.
North Dakota’s Congressional Delegation says it will hold USPS leadership accountable to make sure they address local concerns and that any changes to mail processing and other postal operations in North Dakota actually result in benefits to local residents.
