ABERDEEN, S.D. (KFGO) – Four Aberdeen Fire Rescue personnel are recovering from injuries after an ambulance crashed during winter storm conditions.
Aberdeen Fire Rescue Medic 2 was responding to a call in Groton at approximately 10:45 a.m. on Feb. 18.
The ambulance crashed with a semi at the intersection of Highway 12 and 393rd Avenue east of Aberdeen.
Four personnel were in the ambulance and all were transported to be evaluated for minor injuries.
No other injuries were reported in the crash.
A blizzard warning was in effect for Aberdeen at the time of the crash.
