FARGO (KFGO) – The body of a man reported to the Fargo Police Department as a missing person has been discovered south of Fargo. The person had been reported missing Sunday night.
A Cass County deputy found an unoccupied car in the Forest River area late Monday night.
An extensive search for the man was conducted overnight. The search intensified and shortly before 10 a.m. Tuesday, the body of the 24-year-old man was located. The sheriff’s office says the man’s family has been notified and there’s no evidence of a crime in his disappearance or death.
The sheriff’s department was assisted by Fargo and West Fargo police, Southern Valley Fire and Rescue, Valley Water Rescue, The Red River Regional Drone Team and the Cass County Coroner’s Office.
