JAMESTOWN, N.D. (KFGO-KVRR) — A man has been arrested after barricading himself and a two-year-old child in a home in Jamestown for 10 hours.
Police say they responded to a domestic violence incident in Western Park Village around 2 a.m. They say the man made terroristic threats toward another person and refused contact from officers. They also believed he had access to firearms.
After hours of negotiating with the man, SWAT was called in and the man was arrested.
Police say the child is safe. A shelter in place for that area was lifted in the noon hour.
