FARGO (KFGO) – A 34-year-old West Fargo man is dead after the motorcycle he was riding crashed into a motorhome in Fargo Wednesday afternoon.
The crash happened near Main Avenue and 42nd Street S. around 4 p.m. The Highway Patrol says the motorhome was eastbound and the driver was making a left turn into a parking lot when the motorcycle crashed into its passenger side.
A release from the Highway Patrol says, “the motorcycle was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed…” The motorcycle rider was wearing a helmet.
The 86-year-old Grand Forks man driving the motorhome was not hurt.
The westbound lanes of Main Avenue from 40th Street to 43 1/2 Street were closed for about three hours. The crash is under investigation.
