Jaiden Pickett (Cass Co. Jail)
FARGO (KFGO) – North Dakota State University released a linebacker from the Bison football team after a shots fired call in north Fargo early Sunday morning.
Jaiden Pickett, 19, was arrested for terrorizing and reckless endangerment at a house party in the 1200 block of 11th Street N. Police say there was an argument outside before a gunshot was fired into the house.
NDSU athletic director Matt Larsen and head coach Tim Polasek say being a student-athlete is a privilege that comes with an expectation to represent the team and university. They say Pickett violated the university’s code of conduct.
No one was hurt in the shooting.
Pickett, a freshman from Milwaukee, is in the Cass County jail.
