FARGO (KFGO) – A West Fargo woman is in jail after she was stabbed while breaking into a north Fargo apartment Friday.
Fargo police were called to a report of a stabbing at 1105 11th St. N just before 5 p.m. Friday.
When officers arrived, they learned that Lacey Smith, 31, had been in an argument with a resident at the apartment.
Fargo Police say Smith broke into the unit through a window, and was stabbed by the resident in self defense. Police say Smith then broke another window when she threw rocks at the apartment unit.
Smith was treated at the scene by paramedics and was arrested for burglary.
