FINGAL, N.D. (KFGO News Dakota) – It was a long couple of days for a semi driver who left State Highway 32 and went into the ditch near Fingal.
He left the road early last Sunday morning and stayed in his truck until Tuesday.
Barnes County Chief Deputy Pat Sand says deputies checked on the trucker, who told them that he was okay and would prefer to stay put. A tow truck brought him fuel to keep the trucking running.
Sand says there was a language barrier, but the company he worked for assured sheriff’s dispatchers that he was safe.
