
FARGO (KFGO) – A Halstad, Minnesota man is in jail, facing charges after trying to flee a state trooper early Friday on I-29 in Fargo.
At times, the driver hit speeds around 125 mph before crashing his car as he attempted to exit the interstate at 12th Avenue North,
The driver lost control on the ramp, went into the grass on the shoulder, and struck a number of signs, disabling his car.
He failed to comply with the trooper’s commands and attempted to flee on foot but was caught and taken into custody with assistance from another trooper and a Cass County Deputy who arrived on the scene.
Grant Goodsell, 31, is facing charges of DUI, fleeing a peace officer, resisting arrest, reckless driving, and other lesser violations.
