Thirteen players earned All-State honors in North Dakota Class A boys basketball on Wednesday.
Carter Birrenkott of West Fargo and Jacksen Moni from West Fargo Sheyenne were both unanimous selections. Treysen Eaglestaff from Bismarck, Nick Kuper of Bismarck Legacy and Deonte’ Martinez joined Birrenkott and Moni on the first team.
Birrenkott helped West Fargo win the Class A boys basketball championship with a 65-60 win over Minot. He’ll play football at Minnesota State University Moorhead in the fall.
Moni is heading to play collegiate basketball at Northern State while Eaglestaff is set to return to Bismarck High for his senior season. Kuper is heading to the University of North Dakota for football and Martinez was named Class A Senior Athlete of the Year.
Selections are voted on by the North Dakota Associated Press Sportscasters and Sportswriters Association.
