MOORHEAD, MN (KFGO) – A man and women were ejected from a vehicle on I-94 while trying to evade police Saturday night.
Around 10:00 pm, A Fargo Trooper on I-94 near the University exit spotted a 2004 Honda Civic exceeding the posted 55 mph speed limit.
The trooper pulled onto the roadway and attempted to catch up to the vehicle and the Honda increased its rate of speed. Emergency lights were activated by the office initiating a pursuit.
The Trooper was traveling as fast as 120 mph with the Honda pulling away. The vehicle traveled into Minnesota and out of view of the office.
The Honda lost control just east of Exit 1B and entered the median striking the cables.
The two occupants were ejected at the time of the crash. The male passenger was located in the median and the female driver was located on the westbound side of I-94.
Red River Ambulance and Minnesota State Patrol responded to the scene.
A 43-year-old female and a 34-year-old male from Fargo were transported to Sanford West in Fargo to be treated for injuries sustained in the crash.
No names are being released at this time. Charges are pending.
The incident remains under investigation by the Minnesota Highway Patrol.
