GRAND FORKS, N.D. – Marquette hung on for a 90-82 win over the University of North Dakota from the Betty Engelstad Sioux Center on Sunday afternoon.
Julia Fleecs scored a game-high 23 points on 8 of 12 shooting for the Fighting Hawks. Sophomore guard Maggie Manson had a career-high 17 points and made a career-best five three-pointers for North Dakota.
Jordan King paced Marquette with 20 points and teammate Camryn Taylor added a double-double with 17 points and 11 rebounds for Marquette.
UND shot 12-24 from beyond the arc and 14-14 from the charity stripe in the loss.

Marquette (1-0 overall) returns to the court on Wednesday against Milwaukee.
UND (0-1 overall) is scheduled to travel Bozeman, Montana for a date with Montana State on Saturday, December 6.
