FARGO – The Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich Cardinals won their 37th straight game and defeated Lisbon 42-28 in the Class A championship on Friday from the Fargodome.
Lisbon held a 20-16 advantage at the half only to see the Cardinals score touchdowns three touchdowns to start the second half.
Langdon Area/Edmore/Munich senior quarterback Simon Romfo passed for 130 yards and 1 touchdowns while adding 135 yards on the ground and 2 touchdowns.
Jordan Sours paced Lisbon with 165 yards rushing and 1 touchdown and teammate Robert Adam had a 55-yard pick-six for the Broncos.
