FARGO – The St. Paul Saints salvaged the final game of the series against the Fargo-Moorhead RedHawks on Thursday afternoon.
St. Paul (11-13 overall) opened with a Chris Chinea RBI double, followed by a Josh Allen RBI single in the first inning and never trailed in their 5-2 win from Newman Outdoor Field.
Allen finished 2-4 from the plate with 2 RBI and 1 run scored.
Christian Ibarra hit a solo home run for the RedHawks (9-16 overall) in the bottom of the second.

The RedHawks travel to Milwaukee for a weekend series against the Milkmen. Game 1 starts on Friday at 6:35 p.m. on 740 The Fan and 107.3 FM.
St. Paul will play Winnipeg for a 3-game series starting Friday at 6 p.m. from Newman Outdoor Field in Fargo.
